The Laurens County Public Libraries offer notary services for the public. These services are provided via our registered staff member.

Availability is based on the staff member's schedule. To find out more, please contact the Clinton Branch at: 864-833-1853.

You must bring your valid driver's license or state-issued ID, as well as the fee at time of request. If a document requires witnesses, those must be present at time of signing.

It is the notary's right to refuse or limit services for marriage documents, will or trust forms, power of attornery, and anything requiring witnesses not present at time of request.

Fee: $5 (paid to notary to be donated to library); cash or card ONLY.
