Join us on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 6:30 to celebrate World Space Week. NASA Ambassador David Leaphart will discuss the Artemis Space Program. Artemis is NASA’s first step into the next era of exploration with a goal of returning astronauts to the moon by 2024. They hope to establish a sustainable human presence on the Moon with the goal of sending humans to Mars.

World Space Week, October 4-10 annually, is the largest space event on Earth. More than 5,000 events in over 80 countries celebrated the theme “Space Unites the World” in 2018.  The 2019 theme is “The Moon:  Gateway to the Stars.”
