From Scrawl to Script: Beginner’s Calligraphy

Even though calligraphy is an ancient craft, this “art of beautiful writing” has many uses today. By learning this skill, you can transform an ordinary note into a message that makes an impression.
Join calligrapher Carol Davis at the Laurens Library on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. for an hour-long session that starts with the basics of forming italic letters and progresses into principles of layout and design for calligraphy projects.
This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited to the first nine adults who call (864) 681-7323 to register.
