Morning Adult Computer Class

           Are you an adult who does not have much computer experience but would like to learn more about them? Are you looking to purchase a computer but don’t know what to look for? Join us on Monday, September 17th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for an hour-long introduction to desktop and laptop computers. This is the first part of a three-part class for beginner computer users.

During the hour-long event, we will discuss the different internal components of computers, as well as operating systems and commonly installed software. We will also cover tips for purchasing desktop and laptop computers, and give an overview of other tech devices, such as Chromebooks, smartphones, tablets, and e-readers.

This class is aimed at adults who may not have much experience using computers, adult job seekers who may need assistance learning to apply for jobs using computers, and patrons who may be interested in purchasing a new computer but need assistance with what to look for when purchasing.  The program is free and limited to 6 patrons per session.
