The Laurens County Library is honored to present The Story of Anne Frank, a dramatic performance by Bright Star Touring Theater on Thursday, November 7 at 6:30.
World War II was a desperate and intense time for everyone, but it was especially devastating to the Jewish people living under Nazi rule. Through direct accounts from Anne Frank’s diary and the heartfelt retelling of her story by her father, Otto, this production offers an engaging and accessible approach to one of history’s darkest chapters. The courage of Anne Frank and her family is the story of the strength of the human spirit in the most challenging times.
Bright Star Touring Theatre provides literary, curriculum- and character-education based classics that are as entertaining as they are educational. This is their 20th year and they have created programs that allow them to bring the magic of theatre to people of all ages who may not always have the chance to see it.
This event is free and open to the public. This is a family event and is appropriate for adults and students in 3rd grade and older. For questions please contact Robert Peake at 864-681-7323 ext 217.
